When you have it looped all the way back until it is just an oscilator shape you can pitch it, yes. Most samplers will provide this functionality automatically. You can add al sorts of effects on it to create the sound you want.
I have always been wondering about the female vocal-sounding effects in euphoric breaks and build-ups.
Cyber has a nice example at 1:37 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFy0boGZIPc&t=97s. Is that a choir sound with a lot of effects or is it a real voice? And if it's a real voice, what is the thing called/where do you find it?

He most probably asked the vocalist to sing a-a-a with this melody. Altho' it can be done using autotune

Hi guys!
How is the lead (starts at 0:58) made? I'm new to the production so I'm trying to figure out how to make screamy leads like this. I'm sure it involves multiple different synth running at the same time, but what parts should a lead like this have? Or how is it done?
Thanks!

The reverse bass at 1:08
I know it is a filter kick, but this kind of "effect" that seems to repeat in other tracks aswell and I am thinking it is some kind of plugin or a preset. I mean it is not just a simple bandpass with pre-distortion or post-distortion. I don't think the reverse bass used in the track would make a difference if you applied the same effects.
You should try Quadrafuzz. The RaveN wrote:
