Give your thoughts on how the sound is made

Post by thesh3ll »

In this topic you can post a sound (can be anything kick/fx/lead) where you would like people to suggest their thoughts on how the sound is made.

i will start:

that sound that comes in at 0:51 in the left speaker, how do you think this sound is made?

btw you do not need to be experienced to post your thoughts here in this topic, just write down what comes to mind when you hear the sound, some people might have interesting thoughts on how the sound is created

To me that sounds like a simple screech that is severely time-stretched. I made a similar sound when following Michel Pollens Screech tut (Fusion Labs)

I think it's a vocal with pitch envelope modulation and effects :D

Now, the sound at 1:02 O.O

Spoiler
I know how to make these kind of screeches:
Dune, 2 Saws, pitch env, fast pitch lfo and enable the phaser. Some more EQ/Dist/Reverb and that's it. :D
Result:

Some idea on how the screch @0:12 was made? :p

I've actually remade that sound, i just took a simple saw lead and loaded into the fruity granulizer and messed about with time stretching etc :P

Time stretching and adding effects to even the simplest lead can give you crazy sounds :)
