I'ts an hightoned supersaw screech with an pitch envelope on the attack. Try it. I bet you can come very close if you listen and try to make it.

My turn :p

I am wondering how this tune at the beginning is made (00:15) . That kind of screech. And the effects he used.
And the second thing I'm wondering is how radical makes his sick kicks like this one in this track.
Hope someone could tell me.

Hi there! I've got a question about the Defqon1 Australia Anthem:

How did they create the intro with that Defqon1 vocal at 00:25? What kind of plugin is good for altering vocals?

Thx in advance,

Audiopioneer

@Audiopioneer

it's a vocoder vst, with stuttering effects. for the plugin, i only know newtone & wavetraveller from FL Studio and Melodyne from Presonus Studio One.

Ahhhh that vocoder bassing :3 one of my favorite sound designs :)
Vocoder : carrier is some kinda growly , moving fm bass, and its modulating the vocals :) from then they automated the mix parameter for sure ,and some other fun stuff :)

Edit Nr3: i'm pretty sure it Vocoder from FL Studio , it's really good for this kinda stuff :)

How is this atmosphere in general made? I'm trying to at least recreate the bass line.. I can't tell if there are chords playing in the background or not.
And the bassline when the melody plays. How is that in particular made? it seems like the synth has cutoff on it put other than that I can't really figure it out

Merged it in the right topic for you.

What happens is that the vocal gets looped and the loop is hereafter made shorter and shorter up until the point where you basically have a certain shape constantly repeating itself like this would also happen using a normal oscillator as source for your sound. Most good samplers can do this, for instance Kontakt. If I'm to believe the video, Headhunterz did it with Ableton's build in sampler here :)
