I know for the others, it's a shame. As far as his style goes, I personally really like it, he makes amazing and catchy melodies and he broke 4by4 chord progressions. Maybe it was done before, I don't know, I didn't follow house before the big room started. Besides, even though it is repetitive, it still works live.
Yea Martin Garrix is one of the few whom I don't like anymore. His tracks lack so much energy imo. Animals is alright because it's a huge hit and works really well, but it lacks energy. Same goes for wizard which is kinda a cool track, but anything after these just suck

bigroom hits me pretty well as you can easily fuse it with subground. ak9 is one of my favorite bigroom guys nowadays, his tracks have so much energy!!
