Hated by some, loved by others, I present to you the genre that's wrecking (now I'll leave it to you to decide if this "wrecking" is positive or negative) the Beatport Top 10: big room house.

I actually like it a lot and I'm SO glad it replaced brostep & dubstep (eww) as the mainstream genre (first time I actually enjoy a mainstream style of music too).

I was a a fan of this kind of music for half a year, then it got boring and it still bores me to death.

Long breaks with random melodies and then the "epic" drop comes in. That's the description of this genre.

I still enjoy some bigroom house songs today, but not as much as epic.

I recommend Deorro aswell, Yee is his best track so far. Most interesting artist in the 'big room scene' is Blasterjaxx right now if you ask me. Unfortunately he's the only one that keeps making interesting stuff, the rest just tries to copy whatever song is popular (First Epic, Wakanda, Animals and now Tsunami)
