The gym topic

Post by ceero »

So the offtopic place is half dead, was thinking this could be a nice topic to revive it as it's mostly guys here :)

Any other gym freaks here? Whats your routine, achievements?

I'm personally trying to keep up a 4x a week workout schedule, beein doing so for basically 2 years now (with an ocassional break if i get sick - like i just did lol) and i'm still hooked. I've been on and off with my gym habit since I was like 15, but I never managed to do 2 full years of regular gym tbh. & i'm lucky enough that i have a job that allows me to hit the gym basically at any time of a day, so between 10-14ish is usually it and the whole place is mine :+

I'm not really pushing hard for personal records, my goals are sustainable series with max possible weight. I'm kicking back after a sickness absence now, aiming to get back to my pre-cold levels that were basically 4x8 set of 100kg bench press, 4x8 dumbbell incline with 2x35, 4x6 deadlift with 140. Avoiding squats all together as one of my knees is basically fucked up because of an old injury/surgery. My aim was a full set of 110, maybe 115 bench press until the end of the year but got set back heavily, so i'll be happy with a 105 :)

I gym 5-6 times a week mainly powerlifting focused but I had some breaks and did everything as inefficient as possible lmao. My 1rm's atm are 120 kg bench press, 180 kg squat, 225 kg deadlift. But my sleep, diet and all that stuff are far from optimal atm.
