Using Edison to sample kicks

I often use iZotope Trash 2 and Camel Phat to create my kicks, after I am done with the kick I sample it in Edison to avoid the sound getting cut because of those plugins demo version limiters.
Usually I can get away with this but in this case Edison really messes up the sound of the kick after it's been sampled. My kick does not have (sub)bass anymore and sounds really high pitched.

Is there another way to go around iZotope's and Camel Phat's demo version limiters?

That's sounds more like a problem in Edison.
Check your settings how you sample them.

I reecord my kicks in Edison.
First I normalize them if needed and then press Ctrl + C in the selected area to bounce them into my playlist.
I've never had any problems with them.

Dunno what Edison is, but it sounds like a samplerate issue
As a nerdy alternative you could check out VB-Cable when you're on Windows; they work well with ASIO4All for example.
