Your thoughts on the Producer section.

I want to hear what you, the everyday users think of the section and how to improve it. What needs to be done to make it better?
I'm grumpier than you.

Do people even read these?

I think it's really good , i can ask what i want from fellow producers , everybody's really nice , if they go offtopic or spam etc the admins are doing their jobs well :) We could use a big tutorial section(on advanced sounddesign) , like how to make different basses, professional sounding leads , reverse basses , how to mix like a pro etc , cos there are sooo many basic tuts on the internet but none on advance hardstyle sounddesign :) i want to make those kinda topics actually , but i'll wait till my tracks are on a level that i consider good enough (and ofc other producers would help me in that :D ).

Agreed with iampsych. We really need some advanced tutorials or content separated from the basic stuff. There's a lot of posts on here, but you have to search around quite a bit to get to anything worth while.

It needs a revamp I feel.
It's started dying recently no one really bothers in here any more.

I try to moderate my best, but the lack of activity has been going on for quite a while.

Yeah you have been doing a great job, but I think something needs to happen to get people interested again.
:)
You could do a few pinned posts, where people can find free sound sets, sample packs, remix packs, free vsts and so on.
It's like how this sound is made it's officially dead lol.
I would let people actually ask how to do a specific sound but maybe have their own topic because members don't check that anymore. :G

It needs a "makeover". It's not bad now, but it needs to people get intrested again.
A contest, anthem or web radio could do the trick indeed!
Besides that SCH has done a good job, nothing to bother about that.

This sounds like a good Idea, because It's really bad now, no one really comes in here and answers questions anymore. People need to be able to make their own questions like in other forums like KVR, Gearslutz, Nonstop2k and so on.

spitles wrote:hi. (...) no particular thought, but, what about a yearly producer's section event going like, f.e. ~harderstate anthem/theme {year} contest/challenge/trial~ (or yearly free album/ost/compilation, or etc...) ? there's the dj/webradio event, so, why not something similar for producers ?
This would indeed be awesome! I really like the anthem idea. There actually was a topic about a harderstate anthem, if I remenber it right. Maybe we could revive it
