I'm giving away 2 hardstyle kicks

Post by Hypanova »

To celebrate my first release I've decided to give away 2 kicks of mine.
I'm giving these away because I won't be using them myself and I think they may come in handy to some producers.
I know some people may not like me giving kicks away but I believe hearing other producers kicks can sometimes help improve you own.
Please note that these kicks aren't ready to just paste in your mix and done. They still need some processing especcially the second one.

here are 2 examples with the kicks:

To download these follow this link:

enjoy!

ps. I think I can post this here since it's not a kick question nor kick feedback.

Ahh, I see. So you're scabbing likes on Facebook for two kicks that aren't even that great.

Congrats on your first release mate. Hexablast is a solid label.

I must say you have some pretty nice sound design all around EXCEPT for kicks. Your leads are miles ahead in my opinion. They aren't bad kicks...but I wouldn't take anything out of them. Although I was curious in testing out your example with my own kick. Came out pretty nicely.

That's a pretty heavily detuned square mostly right? What synths did you use for it if you don't mind me asking?

What did you expect? I would give away my best kicks for free? There is a reason it's these 2 kicks I'm giving away (even though I still believe they can be usefull). If you don't like it, simply don't download ;) no one is forcing you to.

The issue wasn't entirely the quality of the kicks. What you're doing is just a pathetic way of getting Facebook likes. It's as though the size of your fanbase is more important than the quality of music you put out.

You man, deserve a medal for this! _O_

Second, what ljk32 said. Your fan base will grow by good music, not because it's nice to give away some kicks. Like when i ask a fan of yours this question: Why are you a fan of his music? ''Yeah he gave me 2 kicks so now i'm fan of him''

Is that what you want dude? :?

It's not a pathetic way of getting facebook likes, it's a way to get more people to my page and check my music. But honoustly, I couldn't care less what you think :listen:

That sound is made with massive.
It's 2 pulse-saw oscillators with clip distortion on it. If you like I can save the preset and send it to you?

That would be great. Haven't played a lot with Massive and it would give my a good start to start breaking things apart.
