New to Trance.

I used to listen some trance back in 2008, and I want to explore the genre again.
I've been listening to some tracks from artists signed to Anjunabeats (especially ilan bluestone, and im amazed by how hard those kicks actually are) and that's about it; i want to explore more.
I have some questions:

1. Music evolves, what is the difference between older trance and trance as in 2014?
2. What are the best 2014 trance artists/labels I should check out?

Ilan Bluestone is amazing

if you want pumping 138+ trance, go for Arctic Moon, Menno De Jong, Bryan Kearney, Allen & Envy, Photographer, etc

if you want some slower proggy stuff, go for Juventa, Super 8 & Tab, Oliver Smith, Audien (Anjuna <3 haha)

Ilan bluestone and photographer are great. I dont like the curent mainstream trance and i dont have the time to exploring the whole style as i did . Im stick to andy blueman, fav producer <3
But check orchestrance podcast from amhed romel, quitte nice and grp therapy ofc

Ilan Bluestone and Andrew Bayer are the main men for me. Anything Anjunabeats really. If you like deeper stuff go lsiten to Anjunadeep. I'm not typically a fan of deeper stuff but Matt Lange and other artists on that label has a way of making it soooo atmospheric.
