Quick question about FL Studio and sends

Post by leeroy »

In the mixer on FL Studio, it includes 4 "send" tracks, now my question is.. What is the point of these 4 send tracks when you can simply create your own send track by linking one or more normal insert tracks to another track by enabling the send on it?

To save time and make it easier? Might aswell ask why is there 99 mixer tracks present.

yea my guess was that these 4 pre-routed send tracks were just there for convenience

but I just thought there could be something special about them also

btw I was also asking since I thought that 4 sends is a little random, I would minimum always need about 8 send busses

For me: I use those 4 send tracks for effects such as reverb, delay, etc.

and I use the normal insert tracks as bus tracks to group together my kicks, percussion, etc.

They were left there for previous version FLP compatibility.
