it's a really neat DAW, i learned the basics within one day!
now i'm watching tuts all over the webs to get a bit more into it, the workflow is quite amazing!

only thing that bothers me BIGTIME is that there are no bezier curves available for automation
(if there are and WHERE/HOW please tell me!!!!)

Well, I just browsed Presonus website and there should be curved automation. I saw it in a GIF someone posted. Haven't found out yet on how to accomplish it though.

It rocks though, so much easier to use than FL when it comes to workflow and achieving "things", for instance that every parameter is automatable without having to go through multiple steps.

WHERRRRREEE?!
i don't get it why you won't add curved automation, it sounds so much better than linear, esp in building up things.
also: why did they add it for fades, but not for anything else?!

I found it. Takes some creativity but it works.

Listen up.

Add an automation lane and assign it to the parameter you want to automate.
Now go to the toolbar (default upper mid... Arrow, Range, Split, etc.) The fifth icon looks like a pen, it's called Freehand.
Click on it, it gives you a list. Select an option you want, for instance Parabola.
Now highlight the automation lane, put your cursor where you want the automation to start. Click and hold while dragging a window in which a curve will form.
You can use the transform tool in the same menu (works the same, just drag and select) to make adjustments to a curve without having to edit each poont individually.

Yeah this should be added to the DAW. I really really like the workflow. For me it's like almost Logic, Cubase and Ableoton in one DAW. Although what I think is that they might add a few more stock plugins like a nice filter etc. AND MORE COLORS OH GAWD PLEZZ GIEV ME KALORS! Also I would like it if they made the waveforms look ot so gritty, but more like Cubase from version 6, smooth when you are overviewing the arrangement, but detailed when zoomed. Zanshi maybe you can post a list of tutorials you might want to take a look at if you want to learn the basic things etc. Also maybe we can share some interesting macro's or something here.

GOD DAMMIT WHY DO I ALWAYS GET SO EXCITED ABOUT NEW SOFTWARE TO EXPLORE!!!
