BBC's Essential Mix

Post by Reverse Ghost »

What are your favorite BBC Radio 1 Essential Mixes?
Right now listening to Mala's Essential Mix, just released earlier today (L) this man is the Grandfather of Dubstep, and he's definitely showing it!
Other essentials in my opinion are Kode9's, Paul Oakenfold's Goa Mix, Netsky's, all of Skream & Benga's, the first Deadmau5 mix, and Beardyman's _O_

Benga's Essential mix is legendary. Need to check Mala's one :) Also really, really loved Yoji's one back in the days, really recommend that one if you want some good hard trance.

I really loved essential mixes back in 2002-2003 or something like that, when I still was interested in house music (back then it was mostly house, if I remember it correctly, I'm not sure tho). I don't remember which ones were my favorites tho... I think, Parks & Wilson or Saeed & Palash or John Digweed or something... i really don't remember...
