Cubase Technique

Post by Trypta »

Hey Guys, i'm new to harderstate, but i've been a hardstyle and hardcore lover for years.. been in the scene since 2006 i think. I'm producing for two years now and i just made the switch from FL Studio to Cubase, because it has some more features. I want to ask you if you guys could tell me how to do a technique Headhunterz uses for his kicks, using Cubase instead of Logic. And NO, it's not about the kicks, just for the technique, i'd like to use it for other purposes than kicks ;)

Here's the link to a video where headhunterz does his trick:
It's about the routing the output of one mixer channel, to the input of another mixer channel, i guess this is possible in Cubase, right?

create a group channel, and change the stereo out from your 1st channel to Group1 or whatever you've called the group channel.

Jep, just route the outputs to the channel you want, you can reroute that channel again to a new one.
