Make a Kick with just stock Plugins (no logic)

Post by Dj Reaper »

Imagine HHZ, Zatox or whoever lost their computers (I know that probably won´t happen but anyway), would they be able to make a good hardstyle kick with just lets say FLs plugins (I say Fl because I use it and know which plugins there are, but this is valid for any daw)? I just want to know if it is possible for someone who knows what he does without clip dist, ohmicide, trash, camelphat or whatever, just with like a fruity fast dist, blood overdrive, other things and the featured DAW-EQs to make a kick.

It's possible. But you really need to know what you're doing. But those plugins like clip dist ohmicide are just tools to make it easier imo. It's possible yes, but it's gonna take a long time i think. yeah :)

Our fire in the hole kick is 100% FL Only stuff (the starting singal comes from sylenth1 thou), not saying that its the best kick. But yeah its doable.

Anyway, why you want this? :P FL studio stock plugins are just rubbish compared to other plugins/daw's.

I tried making a Hardstyle kick in Korg DS-10 once.

Do you guys still use Sylenth1 for your kicks? I remember when we used to talk on msn you tried helping me with a gated kick using it and i failed miserably haha :p

well i use Buzz effect adapter's whitenoise distortion, works pretty good imo and that is a fl stock plugin. the fl eq is decent but it works. then you got flangers and reverbs and stuff. it should work out but the question really is, how will the result sound like?

it also depends imo what kickdrum you use, i think it's easier to make a good kick out of a 909 kickdrum than making a good kick out of fruity kick.

not really.. only Freeware plugins imo can be rubbish compared to that inside daws/other shareware plugins, the stock FL plugins are not bad, really

and if you don't like them, why did you go and decide to make the whole track with only FLs integrated plugins?
