How you can hear Nikkita's voice, then a demon creeping over the top... would it be made with the same vocal for both voices, just pitched and fx etc? possibly automation?

Layered Death of a Demon Vocal
Hey guys, just hoping somebody could give me a general out line on how to make a layered vocal like from approx 0:28 onwards
How you can hear Nikkita's voice, then a demon creeping over the top... would it be made with the same vocal for both voices, just pitched and fx etc? possibly automation?

I'm pretty sure he's just cloning the vocal into an additional layer and then pitching it down and adding some FX to make it sounds clean. The key here however is to pitch the vocal down.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing..
I think it's a combination of pitching the vocal first and then changing up the tune with a sampler like kontakt. You've got a 'tone machine' knob on the which gives pretty cool fx, kinda similar to the death of a demon vocal. Also some chorus will give that modulated sound. Havent tried it myself though
