The first melody sounds kind of random, but the (sorry to say, but reaaaaly bad) mixdown doesn't really make it easy to judge the melody itself. If you really want your melody only to be judged, just play it with a simple Nexus synth or smth, so other things wont distract us
Also, if you pitch your kick, be sure to pitch the tail only, not the tok as well

way easier method, or relax ur brain close ur eyes imagine a melody and than after some minutes build it.
