New Track, 130 bpm, no clue what genre

Post by Crankx »

Hey.

I am working on a new track, which imo is my best. Since i also created some of the sounds scratch (Bass, synth)

The bass sounds a little metallic on the lowest note, since i sampled it from OSCx3 in C5, then put it all the way down on the A3 in the piano roll. I will try to pitch it some other way, to make it sound better.

I started this project in berlin, when i came up with the main melody, which i thought was pretty cool, and had a nice atmosphere. This is only a small preview, there are lot's of other sounds and elements in this project, but i didnt want to upload it all, since the arrangement is random right now. I used a lot of sidechaining, and it really worked well with the kick and bass. They where fighting so much for space in the mix, and i didnt want to sacrifice db, for that, so sidechaining did the job :)

Have a listen, and plz comment with some feedback in some way.

That is actually really nice.

I love the atmossphere when the bass starts to pitch.

Actually i got nothing to complain really.

Nice atmosphere, the others pointed out. This would work perfectly as a chilling track. Finnish it, bro!

Very nice! Could use a better bass, though. Otherwise, this is GOLD!
