hey guys, i got a question about synths, this in relation to sylenth 1,
basicly i think i have over look something while i have been learning to use synths.
As you know sylenth has Part A and part B,
4 oscilators two on each page a and b, now i have look at some presets, and there is something that i dont do on them,
say im on Part A, both oscillators have 4 voices, so there sending a signal out.
and now i switch to part b and i have NO voices on, so it is not sending a signal out.
IF i click the solo button, Part A has noise, Part B doesnt have noise obviously,
now if i adjust the pitch or something like that on part B, it affects the noise of Part A, alltho part B makes no noise on its own.
I see this on presets aswell, part A is all set up, Part be also has been set, the envelopes and such, but no voices so no sound.
does the signal pass through all oscilattors or something? regardless of the voices?
Hope you can understand??
if not i can make pictures to explain...
Also: in Fl studio if i bring in a sample, and put it in the playlist, as an audio clip, why does the volume of that audio clip nearly double once it is on the playlist? but stays at normal volume as a sample in the sampler.
synethsis question.

Maybe it has nothing to do with that, but, just in case. In sylenth, the part A & B, are just the 4 boxes "osc1 - evn - osc3 - filter".
Everything else is the same for both.
So if you made a pitch enveloper in Mod Env1 for example, it will change the complete sound, not just part A or part B

I tried to recreate your situation and the reason your synth behaves like that is because your soloed filter part has input from both parts. So if you solo part A but filter A has still inputs from BOTH Parts then ofc there will be output of both parts playing from mix A.
Also I'd suggest you always checking the synth's manual when wondering things like how the routing goes inside the synth, etc...

Edit: I didn't read all the posts, sorry. Can you please upload a preset or something since what you say shouldn't be possible in Sylenth1 if the voice amount of the oscillator really is 0...?
