Found it in the German discogs forum btw. There was also written, that the German market for vinyl has raised about 10 % this year!

Such bullshit, I like having a CD than some file on my computer. I downloaded a Horrorist album for 9 bucks on Amazon, barely paying attention to it. If I had the actual CD, I'd pay more attention to it. I like discs better than digital downloads when it comes to albums.

i dont think thats gonna happen SO soon... maybe 2016 or so, but now? wtf?
i, personally LOVE shiny disks, no matter if they're cd's, dvd's or bluerays.
it would be THE death to good mastering if shit would just go straight to mp3 everytime...

Unlikely, CDs will last much longer than vinyl imo. They are cheaper, lighter, smaller, more practic and you can fit more music into them. If the demand for them went lower, they can lower their price a lot, unlike with vinyls which are difficult to made and cost a lot to manufacture.
Would piss me of, like, really a lot. They took me vinyls so CDs is the only new music i can look forward to buy, so please leave at least cds like they are. Huge music stores where you can find pretty much any cd or vinyl are like disneylands for me, would really miss especially those hehe. But im defo not that skeptic here.

Well, who knows. Vinyls are around since early 1900s and are still being released. I think they will still be there if there will be people who are interested in them, maybe in much lesser numbers and only some particular albums for people who are really dedicated to it. But maybe you are right, cassetes died out hehe
