^I think its indeed a low saw synth with distortion and with EQ, boosted on a certain frequency and cut everything else off. But it sounds really crunchy and scratchy, maybe it comes from the distortion but I'm not really sure either

Yeah, I tried recreating it in Sylenth, but used the on board distortion... Should try external distortion anytime soon...Maneki Neko wrote:^I think its indeed a low saw synth with distortion and with EQ, boosted on a certain frequency and cut everything else off. Try using not too much detune and oscillators. By using lots of resonance and distortion you can get the crunchy sound.Yeah, I tried recreating it in Sylenth, but used the on board distortion... Should try external distortion anytime soon...
I also got a question.... about how to get the screech @ 0:52.
I tried recreating the screech all day but I couldnt get the "voicy sounding" screech like in the song.
Think its created with Sugar bytes WOW but I'm not sure...
Try to use ni massive with 1 saw ocilator, and noise "switch trough the noise waves". And then use a lowpass filter on it with samplerate divider and a loot of distorition and a little bit feedback. You have to automate the Cutoff with Envelopes and LFO´s ...
Ahhh I forgot all about massive. Tried only with sylenth, I'll give it another shot later today. Thanks!JPMarlin wrote:Try to use ni massive with 1 saw ocilator, and noise "switch trough the noise waves". Could be a low pulsewave without detune either. But he definatly used a Decimate distortion.Darycka wrote:Yeah, I tried recreating it in Sylenth, but used the on board distortion... Saw wave, cutoff modulation, distortion, and add Decimort and play around with itDarycka wrote:My turn again
@ 0:46, in the intro, the sound that comes in after the second beat. Sounds like a really low saw with a bit of distortion to me, tried recreating it, but failed... Anybody has an idea?

The sound at 0:24, after the screech, in the second beat!

It's a voice recorded, and then eq slight distortion, vocoder style depend which one you're using, Izotope nectar, just perfect for this, pitch and play around with fx =)
how about the first Fx jst at the beginning and then the like drop sound I don't know how you call that at 00:05 sec =)
