Watch Yhimself, a very good artist who uses FL, he even made a video about how he goes around tracks.
His sound design etc, are fenominal.

his skills are not 'phenomenal' in a sense, but they are good.Binox wrote:Watch Yhimself, a very good artist who uses FL, he even made a video about how he goes around tracks.

Judgement is in the eye of the beholder, compared to many producers he is an extremely good producer, there is no ultimate frame of reference for descriptions such as 'phenominal skills', so that comment was pretty redundant.In-toX wrote:his skills are not 'phenomenal' in a sense, but they are good.Binox wrote:Watch Yhimself, a very good artist who uses FL, he even made a video about how he goes around tracks.

theres no typical 'FL-Studio sound' (although some say the difference in the audio rendering is better in some DAWs than others), it is to do with what the producer is making and how he is mixing down his track. you are only 16, give it time and eventually you will develop your production and start sounding better

my main improvements was when i was creating tracks, and finishing tracks, as mixdown is essential, through learning what to do at the end i was able to adapt it into my process when initially creating the sounds. just keep working, creating tracks and ask others for feedback and you will eventually get there bruv

This is 100% true and exactly the reason I'm getting into Cubase atm.DizNgage wrote:In-toX wrote:(although some say the difference in the audio rendering is better in some DAWs than others)
Also, guys like da tweekaz either make or used to make their tracks in FL, yes.
But they mostly do their final mixdown in Cubase, because it sounds better.
The difference of render between DAW will maybe change like 0.5% of the track quality. We still see a lot of famous track, made by famous producer, on top of the charts made on FL. Guys like Avicii, LaidbackLuke or Afrokacl use fl, are famous, make wourld tour & make € for their track =)
Try to learn the 99.5% other pourcent before changing the DAW ( well, if you are confortable with FL ofc ), witch mean sound design & mixdown.
( Not talking about the mastering that is generaly made by someone else for most of the artist )

the mixdown is fine to do in FL, and the audio rendering is quite the same imo,Darycka wrote:This is 100% true and exactly the reason I'm getting into Cubase atm.DizNgage wrote:In-toX wrote:(although some say the difference in the audio rendering is better in some DAWs than others)

afrojack uses FL, look at the quality of his tracks

BA-BOW. It's 100% NOT true

Now your thinking, well ofc Image-Line would say that, but seriously, read it. It makes a bloody good argument.
When will people learn that cheaper doesn't equal worse...
