Not joking either lol, someone on here spotted it in his "From Within" video. I cant remember the exact part but when he shows his Ohmicide plugin you can see its licensed to "Team Arcade", who are known for cracking software

lol

Ok, back to the topic now, seriously:

If you don't know what hardware / software to use, I suppose you're new to all of this.

If you are new to all of this and money isn't a problem, then, buy some books and start learning better you can, using an simple DAW.

Why ?

... Well. Even the most expensive hardware and software isn't really capable of doing miracles and doing music by itself.

If you are familiar with music production, just ignore all I've said above.

that's a console just for studio recordings, it's obviously not my property, you can just work with
in the previous picture, far in the right there's fx chain for vocal stuff, it deserve a zoom :p

back to topic, i agree with andytf
if you do ITB (in the box) stuff like we all do here (i think), you just need a computer and some stuff. I suggest to start with a real sequencer (not to piss off FLS guys, but i mean a linear daw). Reaper can be used without restrictions for free and its license cost only 40-60$. An amazing capable daw and very easy and fast to use
you can learn how to handle VSTi and synthesis just with the free ones; some of them are really good sounding and very complex featurewise (take Oatmeal with flavoursoflime skin for example, it's my waytogo instrument)
for vst effects there are a plethora of amazing ones, plus the ones in reaper don't look so fancy but they're extremely light on CPU and sounds amazing...
unless you need something really specific, i think that with reaper + reaplugs (included), stillwell stuff (same policy of reaper), togu audioline and bootsie plugins (variety of sounds) you can already do everything you want.
probably started before you were born
