Not entirely. Kayem & Likquid tracks are usually tracks that have elements both from early hardstyle (reversed basslines for example) and nustyle (hardcore kicks for example)

That's about what I thought, and you know, the synth's they're using is really hard, rough you know, not soft techno "untz".

Techno is (or used to be) quite dark :P
