Interesting artist, style, and label combo (though I assume this new sub label is dedicated to this hybrid Hardstyle / Hard Techno sound). This is closer to what I imagined Zany shifting to a few years ago now but not quite there - would make for decent set filler with modern Zatox and Activator stuff though (plus of course the various Holy Priest + rawstyle producer hybrids).

Hard as. I don't know why they put it as 2 minutes on youtube. it's a 5 minute track. Super great work! Posted it everywhere but looking forward to this label:)

Hard Dance labels and Extended mixes on streaming is pretty much an inexistant combo these days (only Hardstyle Mafia's and Envine's labels seem to distribute both versions everywhere)The Blaster wrote: Yesterday, 11:32 Hard as. I like the neo-early hardstyle vibes in the modern techno scene in general, but yeah, this is just not for me.
I have nothing against simplicity, I actually enjoy simplicity in dance music but this kinda feels like an empty shell with absolutely no essence...

Yes this was all I felt on my first listen too. On my second I appreciated it a bit more, but it's quite bland, which is surprising when you think of early Zany Fusion stuff.ceero wrote: Yesterday, 13:43 I have nothing against simplicity, I actually enjoy simplicity in dance music but this kinda feels like an empty shell with absolutely no essence...
Just the regular problem that won't change with streaming platforms having too much power nowadays.Delacour_Music wrote: Yesterday, 13:29Hard Dance labels and Extended mixes on streaming is pretty much an inexistant combo these days (only Hardstyle Mafia's and Envine's labels seem to distribute both versions everywhere)The Blaster wrote: Yesterday, 11:32 Hard as. Most streaming platforms pay artists for 30 seconds of streaming the song, yet it's not much to gain.
If the song can't get the attention in that time span, it will get swiped.

Nono, of course you should optimize your streaming if it means you actually sell the good stuff. you make all audiences happy. it's just gearbox. i never expected the released track to be double the length. it's awesome:) (Room to tease more tbh or state it in the description:))

It's actually changing (slightly but still) since Apple Music partnered with DJ software companies like Alpha Tetha, Serato, and a couple others. Now DJs using those platforms can mix using the Apple Music catalog, which means Extended Mixes now have an actual purpose on the streaming platforms.Xurreal wrote: Yesterday, 15:32Just the regular problem that won't change with streaming platforms having too much power nowadays.Delacour_Music wrote: Yesterday, 13:29Hard Dance labels and Extended mixes on streaming is pretty much an inexistant combo these days (only Hardstyle Mafia's and Envine's labels seem to distribute both versions everywhere)The Blaster wrote: Yesterday, 11:32 Hard as. In addition, the Apple Music automix feature is currently in beta, also makes great use of the full lengths tracks.
Since both announcements, I noticed major labels like WMG (which owns Spinnin', Solotoko, AETERNA, and other House labels) but also Ultra Records, Atlantic, This Never Happened started uploading their back catalog in Extended.
