This so much. Every set feels like a playlist. Bring back the flow. We need transitions between the tracks again.

yes, it's like "dj spotify".... wtf...but i don't know why the organizations doesn't care about. i understand that now the social media generation have the attention of 20 seconds but....

Complaining about lack of mixing is as old as "nu-style" itself :+

I think the most important aspect in a DJ set is the track selection (which is also a very lacking aspect nowadays imo, considering DJs play mostly just their own stuff), however a minimal level of mixing that is not just about playing a track and cutting to the next would be very appreciated.
I don't think we necessarily need Danielle Mondello level of mixing but at least something :+

Though, artists would need to produce tracks in a way that makes it possible, which I feel is less and less the case nowadays (no mixing intro, no outro after the climax, very short tracks and short kick parts...)

8 bars (32 claps) mixintro trend sucks as well lately.

I had the same feeling, devin wild's set felt like it would never end and then they brought the qreator in prime time, wtf ..

also, why don't they start the event at like 18:00 pm? so many people, who were not on drugs, like me, got tired way too early, which could be avoided by that

all in all a cool stage, the oldschool sets were cool, that's about it. 6,5/10

considering that tracks now are built different and mixing it is not enjoyable like the past because of the different structure etc, i think the problem is probably the entire track selections.
because most of the time you go from a track to another, cutting it down after 30sec 1 minute drop or simply bring tracks with different vibe (cheesy, rawish, reversebass, rawish, cheesy, rawish, uptempo, cheesy etc..)

the flow is different and you break everytime the moment, the industry have to focus on this again imo, because everyone has dj spotify in his phone but you don't pay it a hundred euros to listen it.
