Yea of course there will always be people who genuinely put things down unfortunately. But I think it's important to know who is saying something before assuming if it's a joke or real, aka not taking something out of context.Emre wrote: 19 Jun 2023, 16:59 @Trantix
His post didn’t come off as a joke to me, hence why I was triggered, but he already replied and I apologized lol. Can’t deny that every time something is popular, there will always be artists bashing those who found a trendy formula though..

.
I'll be the elitist then: People who enjoy zaagkicks, piepkicks, antis, fake drops and such know shit about music! It's crap made for TikTok people who get a laugh off how obscure it sounds and couldn't recognize a good Hardstyle track even it if won a Grammy.
Hardstyle as a genre gains nothing from it and of course almost everyone only does it because of money! You gonna tell me people like Code Black, Frontliner or Headhunterz suddenly discovered their love for Raw now and only by pure coincidence it is the most common style within the scene?! These producers, who could shape the sound of a genre because of their skills, all fell in love all over again for Raw? Right!
It's like 2014 - 2016 when everyone was copying or implementing EDM sounds, cause Hardstyle could've been the next big thing at Tomorrowland. It was a Zeitgeist decision, not a passion one. But at least then, there was musicality to it and skill needed. Something most don't have right now. So, where do we go from here? Hardstyle just vanishes and it's only Raw before that get's replaced by something harder? Cause Hardstyle and Raw will not coexist. They barely do now.

i don't know if they reached Qlimax

The greater the LIGHT, the bigger the SHADOW
Emre man I used to respect you back in the days, seirously dude though.
If you have zaag kicks and cheesy melodic bits with fart noise breaks in your heart then you ain't hardcore bro.
It makes you part of the Mainstage phone holding brain dead.
Your only hardcore with the unfresh-ist pure distortion with huge lacks of melody, Angerfist has too much melody !
Ophidian too much melody !
These new guys need to commit to playing pure fart noises not just interspersed every 45secinds between shitty pop rap samples.
