- It's running on the Unreal 5 engine.
- It's coming to PS5 XBX/S and PC - NO OLD GEN CONSOLE VERSIONS
- Corkscrew mechanic confirmed making a comeback

Personal wishlist for returning characters include Baek, Ogre, Wang, Lidia, Leroy, and perhaps some super hype guest characters. (preferably without projectiles, even though both Akuma and Geese were mega hype)

It's been a while, but the games producer (Katsuhiro Harada) has confirmed that a tentative release date is set for early 2024, but at the same time saying that there's still plenty of work to do on T8, so don't be too surprised if we see a delay when we hit November or some such - my words, not his. In his own words he said "that he's sure the team is doing their best". which can be interpreted in any number of ways. Personally, I think April 2024 seems doable.

Not much but it's a "sort of" update at least.

The Tekken (7) World Tour Finals are happening right now in Amsterdam, and with that a new short gameplay trailer has been released. This one focused on Nina.


There's also a longer more in depth video from them covering the new mechanics, as well as how the rage system works. (This one gives us a sneak peak at one of Jin's and Law's Rage Arts)

Having seen these snippets up until now, it does seem to me they're going slightly overboard with particle effects - hopefully that gets tweeked before launch, or modders get that worked out.
