It might be a bit ambitious, but maybe there can be a short instant messenger in the sidebar, like the shoutbox on LSDB? I think it would be pretty neat way for some users to share short thoughts without having to find a topic

it is sooo difficult for me to get used to this redesign. i'm soo used to the old one, i have a feeling that i don't have a good overview of everything like on the old design. probably because it is more spacious

I'd also change the "on/off" icon at the top of the page to something else because it's not obvious it redirects you to the login page at first sight

also +1 on the shoutbox, it's a fun feature

Woah. did not expect this much of a change! Great job man. Loving the new look!

My couple of takes - don't take these as criticism, I'm a SW tester irl so a bit of a professional deformation perhaps

Desktop version

• The right 'profile' sidebar - let's totally make it collapsable

• If not, let's at least make it static (if i scroll the page down, the options in the panel scroll away and there is an empty grey block) and re-center the rest of the page

• Dark mode possibility?

• A quick search widget on the top page instead of going full advanced search when clicking it would be nice

• It does look like images inserted through the IMG tag are displayed full size instead of being resized to a reasonable preview size (see the pics below under the spoiler)

Mobile version

• Android/DuckDuckGo browser - the layout of the page is a broken - the width of the page is stretched and the user panel is repositioned to the bottom of the page

  It does act normal on Android/Chrome so its probably browser specific, but might be worth doublechecking

- Missing Logo on top of the page with Firefox (107.0 (64-bits))
- The User panel is also on the bottom of the page when visiting the website on iPhone/Safari
- The Facebook embeds are strange format
