I find it's also good to take away the groggy feeling from not being able to sleep

Truth Club and Wednesday- at a small club in Philadelphia! Wednesday played a more Country/Folk oriented set, but the crowd still found a way to mosh
I only discovered the genre late last year and am still dipping my toes, but I love what I'm hearing of it! Everything from the more slowcore-leaning emo sounding stuff, the the dream-pop/krautrock inspired stuff, and the songs that sound more akin to hardcore punk :fist:
In the spoiler are videos taken from someone I knew at the show :)

may I help you out sir? :P although I experience some relapse in times spent listening but still love this kinda sound after many years :) I don't mind the older stuff:

or new ones but I'd say these have shoegaze influences rather than being the genre itself - mostly post-punk or indie tracks but you can clearly hear the mark left ;)

DIIV (L) Thanks for the recs! I'll check these out ;)

Also, went to a locally curated ambient music concert last night. Nearly fell asleep with how heavy the vibes were, beautiful stuff (L)

Potentially seeing Psychadelic Porn Crumpets & Acid Dad in two weeks, and POND in December hopefully. Some fun before it starts getting crazy at my job.

Would have loved to see King Gizz perform on the cusp of their latest album release, but tickets have been sold out for a while o_O
