Good news, seems they're about to meet about ceasefire
Bad news, USA opposes the meeting without ceasing fire first lol

Pretty fucking bold statement from the "freedom" country that turned his back to Ukraine and keep trading with Russia to say "this is not how diplomacy is made" lmfao
USA thinks they're the world police and intervene when they see fit

Looks like Putin's little blitz didn't go so well
Two days of barely any advance from the lines and resorting to air striking the city they want to capture. What an embarrassment. For Putin the Pig to threaten consequences for Finland joining NATO, he knows he's trapped.

Yeah, that was the problem in the first place, looking for excuses to say he feels threatened and then retaliate and pretty much everyone giving to himReverse Ghost wrote:he knows he's trapped.

A conflict against Finland would also reap dire consequences against them. Although the active military size in Finland is small, they have a massive reserve of trained men and women, nearly two million fit for service alone. Furthermore, they have the second highest gun ownership per capita, only behind Switzerland. With Sweden right next door for possible assistance, it would be a war of attrition for Russian forces that would result in a massive loss of manpower and resources on their end, whether they "win" or not. Remember what happened during WWII.
The fact that his military is struggling in Ukraine, a flat country facing a three pronged attack with further support from Belarus and Chechnya forces, isn't a good look at all.

tbf russians dismantled several ukranian military bases in 1 night and are already taking over, the only death reports are from the ukranian defense ministry saying they've killed 2800 russian soldiers and over 80 vehicles, not mentioning civilians and ukranian soldiers casualties + this image also makes you think they'd have no chance against, at least as of today with no other country involved

Putin obviously didn't expect this to go on for longer than a couple of days at the most, I feel like. If his military had proper leadership and execution, they would have taken most land by now. Their progress is slow and allowing Ukrainian forces to build, making this conflict more costly for both sides. Even if Ukraine winds up surrendering or losing, the losses incurred on the Russian end will have been larger than anticipated, and the citizens back home will become even more pissed at the government. Even more pissed with sanctions affecting them.Shodan wrote:tbf russians dismantled several ukranian military bases in 1 night and are already taking over, the only death reports are from the ukranian defense ministry saying they've killed 2800 russian soldiers and over 80 vehicles, not mentioning civilians and ukranian soldiers casualties + this image also makes you think they'd have no chance against, at least as of today with no other country involved
As Xurreal said, this may very well be the beginning of the end for Putin's rule. Morale in the military is low, and public opinion of the conflict and his overall leadership is dwindling by the day. Even if he wins the conflict, he'll have planted the seeds of his hopefully violent upheaval. Would be sick seeing a french revolution style takeover in Moscow against him and his puppets at some point in the future.

I'm trying to keep hopeful with my posts, less so predictions although I do understand how it cam come across as predictions. I just hope the Ukrainian people pull through this. The last thing the world needs now is another continuation of the cold war. The sooner that pig is disposed of, the better.Shodan wrote:I don't like to make predictions, more so in this complex situation but i kinda agree with you, i'll keep an eye on the thread anyway
