Its already a bad joke all the situation, its a pity that the people obey
About a month ago all the Europe named Romanian people the idiots of Europe because of the low vaccination rate, now all the Europe is red and Romania is green with 500 cases per day. Im sure in January after holidays they will bring the omicron shit panic and fear in the population again.

Let's hope for a fast production of Pfizers new pill, which seems to be highly effective in reducing the risk of hospitalization.
Continued research in South Africa seems to confirm more infections, but less deaths with Omikron.
An endemic might be the goal.
+ my current assumption, the closer a government is to a political wing (left or right), the worse is the handling of the situation.
Currently digging into this topic. As it's showing some nice contrasts in South America, I'm sure to find something for Europe.
So you are saying the numbers in Europe are getting high because of the vaccination?Romanian Hardstyler wrote:Its already a bad joke all the situation, its a pity that the people obey

Believe what you want.Nope, i say that the vaccination isnt the only solution like politicians say everytime. Its a fact that the vaccination will not stop covid. And to not be any discrimination between vaccinate and unvaccinated people.

Netherlands has 17,44 million people. 596 of them are on the intensive care. That's around 0,025% of the Dutch population.
They shut down the country, letting the economy kill itself (again) slowly, resulting that a lot of small businesses are going bankrupt. Spending billions on supporting those small businesses, they bought a painting from the Rothschild family for 150 million, but they can't invest in the care sector such as hospitals, extra beds, extra education which results in extra staff everywhere. 2 years they haven't invested in our care sector here. You know what's the worst? There was a voting by some politician to give the staff of hospitals etc more salary and you know what happened? Half of the politicians left the room or didn't even show up. So many lives could've been saved.
The Netherlands doesn't have leaders. These so called politicians don't even know what they're doing. How can you not prepare your hospitals for a pandemic? There was already a warning in 2016 by a crisis team in the Netherlands and they ignored it. Now there is a pandemic going on and they still don't invest in personnel.

EDIT: I mean, what if the virus was more deadly? What if it becomes more deadly? Are you prepared? Then a lot of people will die just like World War 1 with the influenza virus. Just saying.

Behind the curtain of everyday's consciousness..
What DS said. Our government is as incapable as 4 year old kids. And they're disconnected from society. They have no idea what people need and want. To top it off, the continuous lying by Mark & Hugo. Promising things that will happen that never happen. Promising things definitely won't happen, that happen a few months later. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.
And you mention economy. But what about mental health?
There are increases in suicides. Increases in depression. Increases in alcoholism and drug abuse. Increases in domestic violence. Increases in obesity (which means the lockdowns are counterproductive since obesity makes a covid infection a lot worse than if at a healthy weight). Increases in unemployment. Etc etc.
And the vax/no vax debate. Families are being torn apart because of it. Relationships. Friend groups.
I've said it since March 2020 and I still stand by it: lockdowns and all those (random, ineffective) rules do way more damage than this virus.
Are those 'leaders' gonna pay for the immense economic and mental damage? All the suicides? All the people who became obese, all the people who became drug addicts because they don't know how to cope with these uncertain and depressive times where there is no light at the end of the tunnel? No.
This world is fucked up beyond repair. And the percentage that stands up, says something about it, actually cares, is way too low. It's sickening.
