Hey Everybody, Stefan here from DBSTF :)

In regards to the vinyl release we announced in the beginning of enter your mind; There are maybe 2 record companies left printing vinyl resulting in delivery times up to 6/8 months.

When we found out we have tried to book the pressing ahead of delivering all the assets, but they did not allow us to do that. Because the last solo and last remix were not finished until 2/3 weeks ago, we could not plan for a date until then.

Its cool to see a lot of you vinyl lovers here, and we understand you guys wouldn't mind it to take over 6 months to receive it, but there will probably also be a group who does not like that. We have to keep that in mind too.

What could be an idea; Maybe run a pre-order, where we would need a certain amount of orders to actually make it happen. If not, then its not possible to do a vinyl. We just can't take the risk to print a number of vinyls of an album which is already released to see if in 6 months people are still willing to buy.

thoughts?

1000%, go for it! :) many hardstyle artists done that in the past and it worked out great!

Look, earlier this year, Phuture Noize did the same thing with a vinyl preorder with a 6 month wait for an album he released back in 2018 (Black Mirror Society). He managed to sell out the entire preorder within like 2 days. And with all the respect to PN, he is def a smaller name in the scene then DBSTF :) i think if you do the preoder soon, while the album is still hot, it will sell like crazy

yo Stefan, I think let the pre-order run where people have a week or 2 to order and if you hit enough, then maybe it is possible to commit to the process. Good luck with it! Hopefully a copy could make it to Straya hehe!

Yes!
And I guess most of us would totally understand that it would only happen if/after a certain number of orders are reached ;) I'm game aswell !
