The problem is that the European politicians are pussies afraid to do what's necessary fearing it would loose them the next election. If the lockdown basically the entire Europe is going through right now was implemented in October as all the epidemiologists were suggesting, we could be living -sort of- a normal life these days and saving thousands of lives. But nah, the local politicians won't move a finger when it comes to something even slightly unpopular unless there are literally thousands dying.ThePrincipal wrote:Europe really seems to not want to do anything much to stop the virus.
No wonder most European tennis players have lost their mind coming to Melbourne for the Australian Open and spending 14 days in a hotel without training or leaving because of a covid case on the plane. Well that's what all Aussies have to do when they return home, 14 days in hotel quarantine) and Melbourne people were locked down for 20 weeks out of 52 last year.
Reasons to feel sad
Re: Reasons to feel sad

My cat has passed yesterday due to thoracic cancer. There's nothing that one could've done. Rest in peace, my dear princess

meh
When I think I'm finally able to let overstressing go when new things which are quite important for different reasons come up, there's a reminder this feeling is still there. I still tend to focus way too much on catastrophizing the bad consequences rather than relying on my experiences and have a trust in me that I can do it. Not happens all the time lately but still hits when it does and chances I fuck it up is obviously bigger.
And I can hardly track my thoughts away when I'm having my lunch break right now and I don't have the usual appetite :/
