Dutch government eases corona measures for events from 1st of July
Dutch Prime Minister Rutte has just announced relaxations during the press conference in The Hague. This is the first good news for the events sector: “These easings will make events and festivals thinkable again.”



The events will be possible again from 1 July, according to Prime Minister Rutte. There are hooks and eyes here: because a great condition of this is that you always have to keep 1.5 meters away. Hygienic regulations must also be in order. The organizations are responsible there, says the prime minister.

“This does not mean that the event season will start in full from 1 July”, says Rutte. Festivals have to apply for permits, which often takes about six weeks. This would mean that there will probably be no events before mid-August. “But there is room for movement for the events. By keeping a distance, we give space to each other. We are only fully protected when there is a vaccine.”
