Re: Unpopular opinions

Post by DirtyTok »

I got a bit worried when watching the sets from Dediqated when the so called futures heroes set is full of rawstyle hybrid dj's and no 'normal' or euphoric hardstyle artist is there. I know that there was a own euphoric set, but still :+

I like probably 90% of all harder dance genres (tek, hands-up, frenchcore, millennium, happy hard(uk), hardstyle, euphoric, oldschool hs etc.) But this raw-hybrid era takeover is too much :omg:

This is probably the way the guys from GHF felt when people like myself was praising the nu-style era 06-11 hardstyle back in the days.
I guess what goes around comes around

Edgy rawstyle shit is fucking perfect for gym, but i can't fucking understand how someone can go to Qapital etc and listen to those kicks for 8+ hrs lol.

And yeah i miss 2012-2014 euphoric :( i like how kicks are harder these days, but they don't ALWAYS have to be.

This is the 'unpopular opinions' topic, not personal attacks.
Exactly this. You can say all you want about his music or Q-Dance milking him, but saying he's an arrogant prick is based on nothing and nothing more than a personal attack.
I suggest you see how he replies to his fans on his YT videos. The man is full of himself and his popularity.

That being said, I am new to this forum, and I am willing to apologize for having gone overboard and diverted from forum guidelines. I will endeavour to conform to said guidelines in the future.

"Who hurt you bro" isn't? Don't worry, I'm not taking it that way, but think before you reply. Peace.

yeah, same here.

the 10 seconds of mixing is great, but never adds energy. Maybe this is subtle, but it seems to me to just be bringing in the next track as quickly as possible, rather than that combination of two overlapping kicks which just sounds thunderous.
Does anyone still perform the overlapping mixing between tracks that long term followers are used to?

NO WAY, the current deep/gated/full base kick trend is the best thing that happend to hardstyle in years. Screw the powerless dong kicks without bass

You really can't see that those comments he places on YT are sarcasm, and part of his online persona? And no, 'who hurt you bro' is not a personal attack. Calling someone an arrogant a***** is, though.

^ I don't know but if you need him to make this conclusion, I assume you've been living in a bubble earlier in your life :+ There are like plenty of such examples outside hardstyle.

(coming to this from the way you worded this sentence lol)
