People are discussing cancelling events in the summer let alone in a few weeks (Euro 2020, E3) so I’d be amazed if Qapital goes ahead. I think the next few months could be grim, with pretty much everything; schools, sporting + hardstyle events cancelled, but we’ll see.

There are stats saying that western countries like Germany will face the same impact Italy is having right now in 9-14 days. F.i. the German ice hockey season was cancelled, meaning that there will be no champion this year. The UEFA wants to stop the Champions League and even the European Championship in Summer. Other sports events around the globe faced the same consequences and even the E3 in L.A. was cancelled.
I am sorry @Emre but I am pretty sure that every hard dance event in the near future will be canceled as well. The 25th anniversary of Masters of Hardcore was also moved from March to September.

Make Hardstyle great again
I don't care about the festivals, they can be postponed. The most important thing now is staying healthy and don't get infected with this shit and getting through this crisis.
Everything else is not important!

Totally agree with you. Actually I'm from the region where Corona started it's way through germany, even attending the carnivalparty (Kappensitzung) which was in the news for some time.Jay wrote: True. A german virologist who studied coronaviruses for a decade or so was recruited for a quite interesting podcast which airs every week right now. He said that atleast 70% of people will probably get the virus - the crucial part is to flatten the curve and don't overload the system with infected people.
Hence is why the cancelling of big events is definitely justified.
Germany is a prime example, carnival kickstarted it around here.
Schools are closed for at least one more week, the local football "administration" canceled all games until atleast next weekend. Public administrations are closed except for emergencies.
I know a lot of infected people, the carnival parades are definetly the main reason it spread this fast.
Flattening the curve is the only way to somehow "win" this fight and it seems the people in power are doing a good job - at least in our district.
