It's just perfect, dropped some tears at letting go due to some personal circumstances. Probably the album of the year, still don't know.

SEMPITERNAL
Is this a soundtrack for some movie or a hardstyle album, if it wasnt fot the kicks i couldnt tell
Atmosphere is so good overall, some tracks lack of a good climax but the drive in them are awesome

Clockartz about their upcoming album Chord V: pre-save now!
This Wednesday, it’s time for the official release of the debut album of Clockartz: Chord V. After months of preparation and a successful showcase at IMPAQT Festival, the hardcopy version of the CD was sold out within 48 hours. Tomorrow Chord V will be available on all streaming portals. We sat down with Konnie and Seba from Clockartz to talk about Chord V.
The digital release is coming closer, how are the reactions on Chord V so far?
“They have been overwhelming! In September, we premiered the album and our new live show at IMPAQT festival. It was a very special and personal moment for us. It was the first time that people could hear all the music we’ve been working on for such a long time. The response was great and we felt like the crowd really understood and appreciated what we tried to do.
When we shipped the albums, we got speechless by the number of replies that we received. Besides that we got really positive feedback about the style that we are going for, we also got some very personal and touching messages of people who are going through a hard time right now and found support in our music. That’s the best compliment you can get. It means a lot to us and we appreciate that they share these stories with us. We couldn’t be happier how things are turning out now.”
Hard-copy CD’s were sold out in 48 hours. How did that make you feel?
“This was a very weird moment. We’ve been working towards the release of the album for a very long time and then suddenly the album was for sale. That is the moment when it’s not in your hands anymore. You work for a year towards something and then it’s suddenly out in the open. It’s available for everyone, you can’t do anything anymore, you just hope that your fans like it.
When Q-dance contacted us the day after and told us that 95% of the albums were sold, we had no idea what to say. We couldn’t even imagine this in our wildest dreams. We decided to make a quick note on our social media so that the people that really wanted it, still had the opportunity to get their copy. And then we celebrated with good wine and pizza.”
Why did you choose to release ‘Chord V’ on YouTube but make ‘Breaking’ already available on all streaming portals?
“I think if you listen to the album, you will understand why we made this decision. All the tracks together are forming one. Without the first track, you can’t understand the second track. The YouTube version of the title track ‘Chord V’ is a combination of the first two tracks of the album. We couldn’t drop ‘Chord V’ without the ‘Prelude’.
It’s like going out in the snow, all dressed up but not wearing shoes. For YouTube, it was not a problem to release the track in the form it was released. However, for Spotify, it was a little more complicated since we didn’t want to give away too much of the album. That’s the reason why we decided to not upload those tracks on Spotify yet.
Since there was quite some time that has passed since Chord V was premiered to the world, we decided that it would be a good idea to release one more single before the final release date. ‘Breaking’ is as a track a little bit more a stand-alone, that’s why we released it also on Spotify.
There have also been quite some people asking about extended DJ-edits so other artists can also play the tracks of the album. Even though we are always trying to be as DJ-friendly as possible, we feel like that the tracks of the album aren’t suitable for a DJ-edit.”
What is your favorite track of the album?
Konstantin: “For me, the most special track is ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’.” Sebastian: “It’s hard to choose really, I love all tracks. But if I have to choose: I would say ‘The Marchy of Glory’, ‘Victory’ and the ‘Epilogue’ as a whole.
