So first he does monthly audio podcasts, comes with the video idea, scraps it after a while because it takes too much time away (cough, from China touring) and then goes back to audio only but this time, less than 1x a month? Come on, I still love HHZ and HWS but there are names doing even more touring and a weekly podcast.. Just be honest and say you don't care anymore :(

Stop milking the China market, and start caring about the place where you were able to build your career.. NL and the rest of Europe. So you can actually start making HWS again. always so awkward to watch insta stories when hardstyle dj's play in China nobody in the crowd knows the music, nobody sings along, if you just put another act there playing a completely different genre they wouldn't even notice..

I read Willem said he wanted to make use of it while he can, and eventually plans 'basing' himself around NL again so he can have more studiotime again and he misses home. (Source is NOS schiphol interview & mens health interview btw). But no sign of that yet.. guess we gotta wait till the stupid China market dies.

^ mate, Asia isn't going to die anytime soon. Look at artists going to Myanmar, Thailand, vietnam, Taipei, Seoul and all kinds of places in China.

Yeah you're right. I just hate that he literally admitted he 'wants to smelt the iron when it's hot', aka use the fact he gets a lot of $$$ from Asian bookings but at the same time admits he misses home & making music because he'a touring so much. Make up your damn mind :( and don't let HWS die and forget all the fans here in NL/rest of EU just because some money. He's way past being able to never having to work again after he retires DJing anyways.

When he played in Brooklyn he said he loved playing the small venues with only a few 100 people more than the VIP rooms in China.

But shit man if you make enough money doing it might as well do that for a little

No, he's not.

Either way, Asia is a new market, it's good he plays tons there because it'll open up more opportunities for other artists eventually :)

Personally I gave up on HWS a long time ago already, if he comes with a good episode... nice, but otherwise wouldn't miss it.
