12 till 2 is ideal especially if there's an outdoor area. And I second the 10pm remark.

Better have a look at the duration. I think it's long enough.
I dont get that really.

might as well just kept the Q-Base name, -looks most the same.

It doesn’t really make sense to their concept, 3 areas for each yet stages have a mix of hardstyle, raw and hardcore?

For me it looks like COLOSSUS/DOME (mixed), OCTOGON/NEST (RAW) and INVADER/ARMOURY (HC) so it seems to match the concept very wellNeon wrote:It doesn’t really make sense to their concept, 3 areas for each yet stages have a mix of hardstyle, raw and hardcore?

The concept is not bad and i like the lineup
The real problem is the Hours of the festival
It’s a non sense to finish at 2Am

DEFQON.1 2018 - Now i'm finally a WEEKEND WARRIOR
just to echo what has been covered already.....
I wasn't sure when I saw the times as q-base has always been my favourite festival as I love the outdoor night time thing, I loved the nightmare outdoor editions in 2006 and 2007, but I loved q-base as although I prefer hardcore, all the different stages at q-base made it more complete and more fun to wander about in the night time....
I also preferred watching the sun go down and come back up again, I even loved it in 2013 when there was a crazy storm and there was just me and a few die hards rocking until 7am at the TIH set
I was upset they killed the concept but assumed it would just be a night party replacing it with a different name but it seems to be just a different party with less stages and variety which is harder to get to....
I would like to go as I think it would be weird not being in weeze that weekend as I have been every year for the past 9 years but q-dance have so far not given any reason to be excited about this...
does anyone know any insider info? will there be some last minute surprises?
upset lol
