After how amazing this lineup is. I’m curious to see what Qlimax looks like. Idk how Q dance can top this.

Regarding Sefa and Frenchcore in general am I missing something? I've listened to quite a bit of it and sure it's got some enjoyable music but why is it called Frenchcore when it is exactly like UK hardcore? Stick a clubland cd from 2007 on and thats essentially Frechcore

Useless comment to bump Emre's precious post count up (like most of his posts) aside...
Frenchcore is just named that because it was an old form of Hardcore that was made by French producers back in the day. It came after UK Hardcore so it wouldn't be a surprise if it took influence from UKHC. Thematically it's always been different than Dutch Hardcore, if anything it was always more lighthearted despite having, at times, raw-er kicks. The most obvious difference between Frenchcore and UKHC being that UKHC always has happier sounding melodies and Trance sounds while Frenchcore has more early Gabber sound characteristics in it.

Cheers for the informative reply. I guess UKHC producers and Frenchcore producers would influence each other as with other genres. But I will admit I'm not well informed with UKHC or French so I'm less likely to pick up on the nuances and whatnot.
