@djspeed87 I really like your kick designs. This sounds pro (I can't hear any errors)
@SourceOfDistortion really nice punch in it, tail is good but maybe could get some more loudness/distortion. Oh I have a trick for the low rumble - try use a phase plugin on the punch part and adjust the phase degrees, experiment with FIR/IIR modes, and width. Sonitus phase is what I use. Some phase distortion and compression after resampling can work as well.

I tried resampling before finishing my new kick but I don't know what I'm doing really, just experimenting..

@speed this kick is brutal, great punch.

V2 with an added sub and slightly different punch EQing

is this better? I don't know how everyone makes the punch part of the kick.. I use one layer. How many layers is normal for punch?

I actually like the way my kick sounds but I can accept that others might not, and that is important. Please do tell me if this kick is not likeable because my approach to making it was experimental. It was supposed to sound like 2007 kicks but with a new creative process

@Qoblat The kick is overall there, but you might want to add a bit more weight by having more of a punch(try to layer with some cymbals or something like that).
@Soundphase I like the bottom one more than the first and the second kick in the first, that might be simply coz of volume though.
