this is just a drumazon layer with 4 jeskola waveshapers, about 10 eq's and a basic symmetrical clip at the end of the chain

I personally like that kind of result

Its character reminds me of the Noisecontrollers - Faster'n'Further kick, with a bit of Escape

I think the punch could use more crunch so it doesn't sound like a clean waveform being pitched down.



Here's a little kick I continued to work on.

Pitched with kontakt 5 (ain't nobody got no time for pitching kicks for real). The second bar is (G) which is the root of the kick = no pitch for that note.

Pretty cool kick. Sounds very heavy yet it pitches okay. Somehow i feel like this was just overdistorted a little or too much high end was distorted too early in the kick chain (i usually get that too).

Finish that track! Sounds badass! Reference your kick more with other tracks...it can use a little more volume in the mid end. Other than that it sounds great, i like it!

Yeah so its been quite a while since i posted something myself... i finally got some time to work on stuff again. Improved an old kick of mine (added another layer), improved the attack (which was too weak before imo).
What do you think? (I just slapped the lead and vocals under there so you have something to listen to... not really sure if i want to make this into a track). It has a slight Zatox feel to it, i think...

I'm not sure if you get the true picture of my kick when it is played through soundclouds quality. I think it gets a little extra distortion when it's played there.

Djspeed87: You have two kicks on this page and they are both really great, how do you pitch them?
Nesspj: im not if it the pitching or what it is. I would like to hear some "end" to the kick. Now it almost sound like the kick is to long. Otherwise its pretty nice.

This is a new kick for me. Im really trying to get that low rumble to it. Hard to explain and even harder to make haha.

My recent kick test, haven't pitched it yet, will try today

I think I should remove high-freq noise from it
Plugins used: Drumazon, Ohmicide, Venm, and standard FL plugins - eqs, compressors etc.
