then proced to play: Frozen, Wodka, Jaggermeister, us against the world, the hanging tree, party starter, Heroes ect... FU...

No special edit of Angeli Domini, get mad, no little riding hood, not even the celebration of sin, they could've also played 1-2 tracks from the DWX label to support their coleagues like "Sound of Sephyx" but i guess it's not the mentality of DWX to make their artists united also...
This was the joke of the event... it's not Freaqshow or Xqlusiv or "Qlimax carnival edition", they could've done 1000 times better.
They showed that they can't adapt to a concept and build something around it this night. I wasn't a big fan since they started to make this "carnival" special hardstyle but well, to each their own, but doing such a bad work for the biggest indoor hardstyle event... wow

Beside that yeah, the stage was a "little" disapointment, like yeah, they put great work in it, but 80+ euros for that ? x) That was quite "reverze level", the show was awesome as always, Sogma rocked it with his preshows intros, that was AWESOME, sound was a little letdown also, not a lot of lows on the front, less than usual to say.

I don't know who made the arrangement for the parking but it was the worst, i do Qlimax since 2009, we searched 20 minutes for the entrance of the parking because at 8:45pm the main parking was already closed ???? Oo then there was a "traffic jam" parking 30 minutes of waiting line to the parking P4... wow, never happened to me before and i already arrived late at the venue, like almost 10pm and we where still on the main parking.

Also, great to finnaly put merch. outside and around the event and not only on the crowd stands, finnally ! :)
Biggest troll ever.

Da tweekaz did a great job, what do you expect them to do? Not playing their own tracks? They played some darker stuff too and they did it really well. I saw everybody around me going nuts during their set.

Yea... a big drop down for me also :( They always make great bootlegs, I thought they will make some special Qlimax edits and so on, but yea, kinda average set from them. I mean it's catchy and energetic, but waiting something more special

With this I disagree, since it's "Da Tweekaz" on the lineup, why they should play somebody elses music? Even if they are big friends with somebody, it's their choice. Nobody needs big names on the lienup if everybody will play every random artist ;)
i see you with my x-ray

You didn't read what i said ? They have a lot of great track that fit the Qlimax atmosphere, i told some in my post "No special edit of Angeli Domini, get mad, no little riding hood, not even the celebration of sin",
Da tweekaz entering with a Qlimax 2017 edition of angelli domini would've sold me...
And not playing Little Red Riding Hood is the biggest mistake they could have made...

A troll just write stuff to drive people crazy, I give you a point of view with a "quite constructed" critisim, don't call everyone not agreing with you a troll...

Yeah, that i understand, but to diversify your set as you where the set that a lot of people didnt want to happn, you play stuff that "secure" your act, the latest one of syphyx would've been the perfeect one like i said, it would've been better for them to play 1 or 2 track of DWX just to make people that don't like Tweekaz happy you know.

They are free to play whatever tracks they want, sorry but as Da Tweekaz it's normal for them to play their biggest hit, even if it's not "fitting" Qlimax atmosphere (but still since when Qlimax is only about darker stuff ?). For sure it would have been nice to hear some of the tracks you mention, but don't blame them for not doing it just because people wanted these tracks.

Since when they have to adapt to the crowd ? And not playing their own tracks ? :+ I don't deny what you said but if people don't like them... well they don't like them and they don't have to care about that. You can't please everyone anyway.

Ok, finally got the time to write some lines about my first Qlimax.
First things first, arriving there was pretty easy, it was well explained and parking wasn't a total mess unlike some other parties I've been at (like when I waited 2 hours to get out of the parking lot at Decibel).
Almost no waiting at the ticket scanning was also a great surprise as I was expecting to be in the cold for a long moment.

Then, the stage. I have to admit I was disappointed, as it was really minimalistic. The only thing that I was really happy about were the pillars that really gave a temple feeling. Such a shame, the theme had huge potential for a stage, but that really looked like a 1-day-job and it felt like deja-vu. I didn't quite get the relation between temple of light and the light globe. Too bad.

Sound system was really enjoyable, I'm glad I had my earplugs!

On the sets, I'm just gonna throw down a few impressions :
- T&T // I was glad to hear some older tunes that I was listening to before I left the scene back in 2012.
- DBSTF // What a set ! I was really non-stop during it. It's really rare to find such consistency in producers, and also such quality for producers who are on the softest side of the genre.
- WSZ // That also was really enjoyable
- NC & AT // Same, probably the best set of the night.
- Da Tweekaz // Mixed feelings - there is really no debate about if the style fits the event, the answer is no. But I didn't really care, I had fun during the set and a few good laughs, which is what I expect from these guys.
- Frequencerz // I love these guys so, even though they played during my break, I had a blast. And god the crowd during songs like Renegades or Wolfpack is just insane, so much energy.
- Phuture Noise // Very well deserved, and very nice set.
- SZP // They killed me, and it was my last set as I wanted to head back home earlier since I had a 5h30 drive to get back and was starting to get tired.

In a nutshell, for a first Qlimax it was quite enjoyable in spite of the fact that I expected a little more. But man, what an energy in that crowd. If there was a way to store that, you could power an entire city. :fist:
Oh, by the way : 5.30€ for WATER, what the actual fuck is that about?

And now they have tons of people conforted into what they though about tweekaz (just look at some pages and comments about their set), they don't know how to build their set, they just play their stuff end of the line, where on the other side you have people that work their set for months, create awesome tracks and edits JUST for this night, this is something really important, commitment, they've showed NONE no dedication for this special night, the atmosphere, nothing. They played a generic set as they would play anywhere, you can't deny that.

Also IIRC, they didn't even play the spooks return bootleg no ? The joke... "lol" teasing this 1 week before, and not even playing it when it match the qlimax spirit... :+

80% are on drugs and need to stay hydrated. Easy money. (and also, it's 0.5L).
