as a travel package and you pay for camper spot, not for number of people.

We will visit Defqon 1 for the first Time this Year and we think about to do that with Decibel too.
Whats the difference between this 2? The same as Hard Bass and Qlimax?
Tell me..

On man.
Personally I think Decibel is much nicer fesival than Defqon.1
The thing I like so much at Decibel is its location. You literally camp in forrest or have your chalet accomodation or safaritent by lake and if you like being connected with nature place is perfect. Stages are setup on lake shore /forrest as well. Loudness Xtreme, Loudness last year were located on big platforms on water while darkness4life are in forrest ie. There is two 'mainstages' Decibel mainstage and Pussy Longue, both have their endshow, and both are really big. Btw stages designs; I like them a lot and I think stages are also nicer on Decibel overall as well as decoration. And weather seems to be much better, maybe because Decibel take place in mid-August. (I figured it out from my own experience.)
You have to know that Defqon is MUCH BIGGER. I don't know exact figures, number of people attending but I think Defqon is at least twice bigger than Decibel and because of that Defqon is more crowded, much more busy place than Decibel and if you like to be sqezzed like sardines in tin on main stage Defqon is for you ;P To be honest, on Decibel is much mor space to move around, dance and so on...

(attention this is my own opinion and you my not agree)
Also my controversial opinion is Defqon.1 nowadays seems to be so commercial, well, is getting so commercial, so well known, maybe overrated, everyone wants to go there, everyone hype it when we start talkin about anthem maker and so on, tickets are sold out in hours (for saturday ie.) lads of people going there only because of the fame of Defqon.1, crowd is booring, not many people dance at main stage (you tell I have no right I show you one of tens of live sets videos from DQ). Defqon.1 atmosphere is getting worse year by year. Don't get me wrong but back in the days 2010, 2012, 2013 I had much better fun there than 2015 or last year in example while I like Decibel more and more every year
Look at Decibel now. 16 years already, every year it has better organisation, better design and better overall quality (food, atractions, amenties etc) people are always full of energy and I would say that they are much more dedicated than on crowded DQ. Its gonna by my 5th Decibel, and I can't wait for this years edition like never before.

This is only my opinion, you may not agree with it but would be appreciated if you respect it. Peace

100% agree with you! For me Decibel is nowadays one of the best ourdoor event & much better than Defqon.1 even if I keep some awesome memories of DQ10, 11 & 12 :one:
