[11/03/2017] Reverze - Interconnected [BE]
Re: [11/03/2017] Reverze - Interconnected [BE]
nah, valadia knows, do you worry about death when crossing the street?, brushing your teeth? - are you flying there? or will you get a taxi to make sure your plane dosen't get blown up?
you already seem to have given this too much thought, you really think ISIS want to blow up reverze? why?
the taxi will be expensive, and antwerp train station is cool - if you are happy to burn money then do it, but you can probs book flights for another party instead of buying a taxi lol

I agree with everything you said. Reverze is actually a great target for jiyadis though. Its a huge concentration of western people they can killl. So is every other gig or event going on that day though.freddy g wrote:nah, valadia knows, do you worry about death when crossing the street?, brushing your teeth? - are you flying there? or will you get a taxi to make sure your plane dosen't get blown up?

I don't really understand why anyone would get aggressive towards Propells for expressing his safety concerns?
I highly doubt anything would happen at the event itself, but I can't blame him for being alarmed because that video was no joke. Anyway everyone stay safe and vigilant

hey man, i didn't mean to sound aggressive if this is how people read it but the questions were aimed to make him think twice and maybe accentuate that any threat is probably so small it is not worth worrying about any more than the threat of day to day life....The Ascendant wrote:I don't really understand why anyone would get aggressive towards Propells for expressing his safety concerns?

there has always been a real threat from global opposition, opposing internal separatist groups etc, and terror attacks are nothing new - they are however universally based on the idea that they could happen at any point, you being concerned about it plays right into the hands of the organisations responsible as they exist to promote fear and if this starts to be generally accepted, could potentially be used as a bargaining tactic...
in order to promote this, morning and evening commuter times during the normal working week would be the best times to do this to create fear - cause disruption to business, and take out high net worth individuals, i'm not too sure that any terrorists would get a great deal of worldwide coverage by taking out a few drunk people on the way to a hardstyle party on a saturday night. (btw of course i am not suggesting that anyones life is more important than the other and i'm sure someone is gonna mention that gig in france)
my friends left nightmare at ahoy in rotterdam in 2005 and the taxi they were in was involved in a really serious accident, this did not stop them from coming to another party 3 months later - do you think it would be irrational if they were put off?
i guess the point i am making is it is not worth worrying about as worrying about it will impact life a lot more than the actual chance of from anything happening, and from personal experience there is more chance of coming unstuck in a taxi LOL + it will cost a substantial amount more
hah, i never though i would be having this debate in the buildup to a rave haha
Wtf dude. How can u compare crossing a road with an actual recent threat towards Antwerpen Central Station. Get your shit together man. So stupid to read your shit. I feel sure that the event itself is safe, the central station isnt.freddy g wrote:nah, valadia knows, do you worry about death when crossing the street?, brushing your teeth? - are you flying there? or will you get a taxi to make sure your plane dosen't get blown up?

Uber is probably a good alternative then

The stage looks like multi-LED screen as i can see from the last Bass Events video ! Maybe something like the big head of the event's picture in the center of the stage with several screen on the side of it ? Maybe even moving? It would add something very cool but i think i am going too far

You sure about it? I know that Bass Events use LED stages but I would like to be a little positively surpriced for the first time on Bass Events event and see more complicated sage.ThisIsPili wrote:The stage looks like multi-LED screen as i can see from the last Bass Events video
BTW terrorists. I don't give a shite about them and I don't care if they postedt video from Antwerp Central station or not. I'm not scared, terrorised whatsoever because this is what they want. This is what they working at; to scare people, build a fear, feeling of insercurity in your own town. Belgian special forces, police, antiterrorism cells hving troubles, not us! Don't get terrorised. I'm coming to Antwerp by train and im more than sure a lot of people do so from different parts of Belgium, France and Holland. If, for some reason, Antwerp Station will be closed on weekend I will get of from train in Mechelen, wherever, and get to Reverze anyway. I don't mind to having special forces, army, police at the place, even inside of Sportpaleits or Lotto arena, I dont mind, if its for our sefety, cary on, but I'm only hopeing that Reverze will take a place that day. I hope that police or whoever don't decide to cancel the event.
In love with harderstyles since Defqon.1 2010
I'm sorry but the only one aggressive here is propells. But to answer your question. It's about 45 kilometres. I don't know exactly how many Uber's are in Belgium and Brussels Airport but if you take a normal cab I think you will waste more than 100€. With a Uber maybe 60€ or something. Which I think is a complete waste of money. I can not guarantuee you that you won't be blown up in Antwerpen but I can't guarantee anyone in Europe that they won't be blown up by ISIS. It's all up to you man, don't get me wrong. But I think you will see how much money you've wasted when you get there and nothing has happened.propells wrote:Wtf dude. Naten. As long as there's no specific threat towards Reverze it will ofc go as planned. They're putting up extra security (which is of course good) because of the real threat towards the central station.
