not sure if people are already aware, but this demonstrates an effective way of making a good mixdown for your track

Really interesting, I tried it a bit, but the problem Im having is that everything becomes very flat and not dynamic at all, at least kicks start sounding really wierd. But yea, will probably be experimenting with this in the future.

From What I understand, it's a good starting point but reference tracks are best

it's definitely not the be-all and end-all solution to mixing, but it's good for starting the mixing process for example, if you have no idea of what percussion level should be over the kick, and sound effects etc.
