Dunno if this has been asked before but how do one make a techy kick?

How reliable is MTune ? I opened it on the channel of my kick alongside GTune and while GTune shows a perfect F, Mtune shows either G or F#. I'm confused here.

If you're referring to Melda's MTuner, make sure to set the min frequency to 20hz.

Yeah that one. That makes a lot of sense actually. I don't know why I didn't think of that. Anyway, thanks a lot :)

What do you mean by correctly using a filter? Sorry if I misunderstand, but there is no correct way to use a filter.

At the moment I don't use them at all because I don't know what to do with them. I'd like a bit of an explanation on how it could react and what would be the result if possible :)

I suggest watching the audiofreq masterclass:
(part 1)
(part 2)

If you've already seen it, I don't know how else I can help. I'm not very good at explaining stuff.

I've already seen it a couple of time. But even after watching it I'm not sure if I grab the concept correctly.
