Re: [20/08/2016] Decibel Outdoor Festival + Weekend [NL]
yeah well, I'm not completely against raw or whatever, i enjoy it from time to time but sometimes I just gotta laugh about those posts
shows there is still love for euphoric

Euphoric is great man. Got some serious love for Avi8 atm. Dude is incredible. Plus he played at Decibel on Friday, it being his first big gig. Anyone see him?Emre wrote:yeah well, I'm not completely against raw or whatever, i enjoy it from time to time but sometimes I just gotta laugh about those postsshows there is still love for euphoric
What an awesome edition!
Had fun from beginning to the end. I actually only switched from loudness to extreme loudness back and forth, but anyway it was that kind of a festival you think back in 10 years and still gonna say "highlight"
Best set probably was Delete VIP, regain also was really really solid. Also, Pavel is such a nice and humble guy, was fun speaking to him there. Bit disappointed at the fireworks though, you obviously saw that the money went to stage design instead to fireworks. Endshow was really neat anyway.
Decibel > Defqon.1. As its always been

makes me feel like a kid getting veggies (raw) instead of pizza (euphoric) and making that Nahhh face HAHAHAHA

But I like (early) hardcore though

Also I liked the end set of Frequencerz at Defqon 1 Sunday.
But the noise comming from the Loudness area last Decibel...

Why? Any special reasons for this? Can´t find something special here.Decibel > Defqon.1. As its always been

Really really great edition. Mostly been at the Darkness4Life Industrial & Uptempo stage. TOA, Deathmachine and I:GOR were really dope, only left for Regain in that while. Delete VIP was a disappointment. Went to Partyraiser at main but man. I'm a big fan of Partyraiser but, but was worse than a disappointment. Just no feeling at all. Got my ass over to Tripped at the Uptempo stage what was just the perfect ending for me.
8/10, surely coming back next year.

First of all the weather is like with a probability 80% better at decibel.Tekk wrote:Why? Any special reasons for this? Can´t find something special here.Decibel > Defqon.1. As its always been

the location is also so much nicer, DQ now is only on a plain field it feels like, decibel with its stages on the water and such looks 1000 times better to me.
Also stage designs... At defqon I feel like that the effort is ptimarely put into the mainstage and maybe into 2-3 different stages too, while at decibel every stage has got its really own design. For example look at indigo/extreme loudness stages. Whole lot of difference.
DQ mainstage is awfully crowded at the endshow, you barely cant move no matter where you are. Decibel you got atleast enough space all the way back (in my cases atleast, you guys couldve experienced something different ofc), but they got two endshows so its not really crowded at both places. DQ got only one which explains teh lack of space for you.
Those arent the biggest differences but they sum up to a strong feeling with decibel being more enjoyable as DQ.
To me!
