Re: [20/08/2016] Decibel Outdoor Festival + Weekend [NL]
its a mashup of Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso ft. Ryan Tedder -- Calling and Brennan Heart - Hard bass tool

It was a decent party. I enjoyed the sets of Code Black/NC/Ran-D the most. But all in all there is way too much raw at the moment. I can stand a nice raw set here and then but the tracks are getting really worse IMO. No feeling/emotions in many tracks, sometimes I just heared a plain HC-kick without anything else.
RR & Partyraiser ending the mainstage, I mean, really? There was absolutely no atmosphere at all, no melodies, just CRNCH! CRNCH! CRNCH! for 2 hours non-stop.
But that's how the market works unfortunately
Euphoric (or let's call it HS from the era of 2009 - 2014 is not wanted anymore...

I beg to differ. It's the cheesy, over-the-top singalong, pop/house/trance feeling tracks that are not wanted anymoreJohn Cove wrote:

"Maybe if you wrote some music, you wouldn't need 6 kick drums." - Lenny Dee
I think the crowd changed, too. It just can't get any harder for many of those 100% raw people. Quality is not important, they rather have 1000 kickrolls in 1 minuteTomix wrote:I beg to differ. ^ you need to listen to more trance if you want more feels
2016 has been a fucking sweet year for trance

Agree with you John Cove, besides, euphoric is still wanted, believe me
just not so much on forums. YT and FB people are still digging euphoric bigtime
Sound Rush/Atmozfears/Da Tweekaz sets are still packed to the max at events. but yes, raw is really popular atm. Raw probably won't ever 'die out', but I think it's peaking atm and WILL become less hyped over time. Totally agree on the feels part though, actually I'm the 'weird kinda guy' that rather listens to raw at home than raw at festivals
love the euphoric sets with an energetic and melodic overall sound, can't get enough of it. But when i'm visiting a raw artist at an event, I'm bored after 3 minutes.
Edit: Was thinking about going to Euphoria for the first time this year, but my mates want to go to Superbash. Not sure now.. since wtf? Emre? Never visited THE euphoric event?
would do weird shit just to attend a full night of euphoric, barely see that anymore. I guess it's gonna be superbash.. don't wanna go to Euphoria alone, not sure if I can enjoy myself alone at an event.

Was a great party again! Better than last year. The weather was sweet
Sad to see that Euphoria had a smaller stage
But the mainstage was great
